“Instrument of Grandeur”
Stephen Boniface on the Pipe Organ
Up in the corner of the front of the sanctuary is a silent witness to past days of resounding music. But it will not be silent this Sunday.
Stephen Boniface played that organ for ten years, as a budding young student of the pipe organ, he has since gone on to play extraordinary instruments and has a special love for what a pipe organ can do.
I hope we will really turn out for Stephen – who will be offering some selections that play well on our organ. He’ll also offer a presentation walking us through a bit of history and sound and all the possibilities that are held in such a magnificent instrument. You won’t want to miss this!
